MAA is a large REIT and they run their Charlotte properties accordingly. The infrastructure is solid, maintenance is responsive, and you'll get a maintenance response. You will not get personalization. The renewal increase was 10%.

MAA has been reliable for the two years I've lived here. No drama, maintenance works, the building is well-kept. I'll never get a personal relationship with management but that's fine — I just want things to work. They do.
