Cortland University City

Cortland is fine. The building is clean, the portal works, maintenance is adequate. University City is affordable and Cortland prices here are fair for the area. My issue is the renewal — 10% increase after year one with a 28-day window. That's becoming a Cortland pattern in Charlotte.

Really good for the price and location. Cortland manages this property better than some of their South End and Uptown counterparts — fewer units means more attention per resident. Maintenance is quick, the property manager knows my name, and parking is plentiful and free.
