Novel NoDa

Great building in a great neighborhood. NoDa has the energy of South End 5 years ago — walkable, local, creative — without the full South End price premium. Novel manages the building well and the Crescent team knows the product. The light rail stop nearby is a bonus for Uptown commuters. My one note: street parking near the building is increasingly competitive as NoDa fills in.

Novel NoDa might be the best apartment in Charlotte right now. The location on 36th St puts you in the heart of NoDa's bar and restaurant scene, the building quality is Crescent's usual premium standard, and the management team is the most responsive I've experienced in Charlotte. I submitted a maintenance request at 9pm and had a response by 7am with a same-day fix scheduled.
