Solace at Ballantyne

Greystar renewal came in 12% above current. When I asked to discuss it, the leasing office said they couldn't deviate from corporate pricing. I moved. The building is fine — the business model is not renter-friendly.

Had good experiences with Greystar here. Maintenance is genuinely responsive, the leasing team is professional, and the building is well-maintained. The fees are on the higher end but they're disclosed upfront which I appreciate.

Greystar manages this property competently but impersonally. The portal works, maintenance requests get acknowledged quickly, and the building is clean. Renewal process is pure corporate — pricing arrives with a short window and "market conditions" is the only explanation offered.
