The Francis
Resident Reviews
The views can't be explained! The apartments are large and beautiful. Amenities are always clean and working. Juan and his maintenance team really work hard to keep this place looking great. Love it here!
Catherine has been helping me at my apartment building for about a year now, and she’s truly amazing. She’s always warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure residents feel supported. Her communication is clear and friendly, and she consistently goes above and beyond to make everyday living here easier and more enjoyable. You can tell she really cares about the community and the people in it. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for outstanding service in a residential setting.
I was bitten by a dog in the dog park and their lack of cooperation in helping me identity the dog and denial that the event was caught on camera lead to me receiving a letter from the health department recommending the rabies vaccine. Simple providing proof that the animal was vaccinated would’ve been enough to prevent me from having to get several extremely expensive invasive shots. This occurred in the broad daylight in the dog park and I described the owner, the dog, and the exact time the event occurred. There are signs/ visible cameras everywhere in the dog park so it is beyond unbelievable the dog attack wasn’t caught on camera. When I initially reported the event they told me they’d check the cameras then reach out to me. after hearing nothing from them I came back hours later. When I returned it was like a surprise to them. It was only then that they want back and checked the cameras. Hours later ? Then after spending tons of time reviewing the footage they “found nothing and no proof at all I was even in dog park that morning “. Right. They had the gall to ask me if I was misremembering which DAY I got bit. I had time stamped photos taken of the bite and text messages right after it happened and I was asked if I was sure I’m right ? What is that if not gaslighting when I was showing them all of this proof ? According to them, the cameras didn’t even show me going into the dog park that morning. Pretty miraculous considering simply checking the cameras in the elevator would’ve shown me walking there the exact time I claimed. While going through this process , I had to beg for cooperation and was treated like some type of problem to be dealt with. The team obviously had no care in the world that I was to receive several incredibly expensive and invasive shots solely bc they want to cover their own butts. I had to go through each person in the leasing office to try and get help every time I called I was spoken to like they were trying to dismiss and “own me” on the phone. No apology. Just smugness and a complete lack of remorse coming from the employees. Obviously I’m aware the incident isn’t their fault but their bitterness towards residents was palpable. They weren’t shy about sharing that their priority was protecting the privacy of the resident whose dog bit me unprovoked and broke skin. A similar review was deleted where a girls dog was attacked in the dog park and the exact same situation played out, the office refused to help and claimed it wasn’t caught on camera. Identifying the dog is a crucial step after an attack occurs which they have refused to do on at least two separate occasions now. What was most unfortunate to me is the denial from the leasing office that there is any footage or proof at all of me entering the dog park, nothing short of an outright lie if you ask me. The demeanor of the staff was beyond concerning and it is clear they are callous about dealing with resident issues. It’s a customer facing role and residents paying the exorbitant rent don’t deserve to have staff openly dodging their issues. From the moment I reported this incident I was met with indifference , glares, and defensiveness. Which is so odd because I can imagine if they were in my shoes they’d want answers. More recently, my credit card was delivered to my neighbor’s mailbox by accident. My neighbor a few doors down proceeded to attempt spending $500 on my credit card. Again, when reporting this to the office I am met with deadpan stares and a literal complete lack of concern or regard. I’m aware of the offices limited role in resolving that situation but what ultimately lead me to decide to write this review was the complete lack of customer service and being glared at instead of helped. Again. For a very serious issue. It’s like they think saying I’m sorry you’re dealing with this is claiming liability. Some serious customer service training is needed. I feel like I’m being treated like a Karen for getting bitten by a dog and having my credit card stolen on their property.
Love the Francis! Everyone has been so professional. Amenities are top notch. I want to shout out Katherine at concierge. She is so delightful and kind every time I interact with her. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone
Juan has been an amazing maintenance supervisor to work with here at Francis Apartments. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that residents’ needs are taken care of quickly and thoroughly. His dedication, professionalism, and positive attitude truly make a difference in our community. We are grateful to have someone as dependable and hardworking as Juan with the many many years of experience he has. I really love and enjoy living here
Catherine from the Concierge does an outstanding job! She is incredibly kind, helpful, and personable. She has taken the time to get to know me, and is always is bubbly and adds a positive light to my day. She is hardworking and goes the extra mile to make sure all residents are happy. Whenever I need something or have a question, I seek her out because of how dependable she is. The Francis would not be the same without her- she adds so much to this place and I am so grateful she works here!
The Francis community is all around wonderful. Between my apartment, the amenities and the staff I couldn’t be more thrilled. Carly was one of the greatest leasing agents I’ve ever met, and really fit what I was looking for to a tee. The pool is hands down my favorite part of the amenities. It always feels like a mini vacation when I lounge up there during the season. Shelby has been really great with getting the community together for monthly events and welcomed us with the sweetest care package. Getting our packages is always easy and efficient especially with the help of front desk/concierge. Special shout out to Catherine! I’ve never lived somewhere with a more motivated and determined employee who goes above and beyond to make you feel like you’re her number 1 priority. Love living here, and it’s definitely raised my standards going forward in the future. Thanks the Francis! :)
I just happened across this Google profile for Novel Stonewall Station while looking for something else, and felt compelled to pause and write a quick review. I no longer live there, after having bought a house a few months ago, but my first year here in CLT was spent there and it was a great experience! The leasing office folks are great and the concierge team is top notch! Living on top of a Whole Foods was every bit as awesome as I would've imagined and the amenities (especially the pool) were fantastic! I love my house, but MAN I miss that apartment sometimes! If you're reading this and considering moving there, I highly recommend it!
